ABOUT OUR AGENCY:Our agency opened in 2011 and is a small, close-knit team of three who value flexibility, independence, and strong customer relationships. Before becoming an agent, I worked as a quality control manager in industrial recycling and even owned a paintball park. I also spent time as a professional paintball player, which taught me a lot about discipline, focus, and teamwork.
I've always lived near the beach and consider myself a true Southern California local. Now that I'm an empty nester, I've been enjoying the chance to travel more and explore new places.
We offer dental or vision benefits after the probation period, a Simple IRA, and licensing reimbursement. Our office also uses a rotating Saturday schedule-team members work one Saturday a month and receive a half day or early release during the week to make up for it.
Our culture is very open, flexible, and relaxed. I believe in giving people the space to do their jobs well, so there's no micromanaging here. We're looking for someone who is responsible, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a flexible, independent environment. If you value autonomy and a supportive, laid-back office culture, this could be a great fit for you.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:Jimmy Ramirez - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.
Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry, we invite you to apply and become a valued member of our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
