Operations Manager
$90,000 - $100,000 total compensation (base salary + performance bonus)
Six-figure upside earning potential based on net contributions and office scaling
Core Mission
The Operations Manager is responsible for recruiting, coaching, and developing team members to build a highly accountable, performance-based culture. This role directly supports the overarching goals and strategies of the Paul Davis Partnership Group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard "A-player" talent to support rapid organizational growth.
  • Coach and develop team members, focusing heavily on leadership and position-specific skills.
  • Foster a culture of teambuilding, high engagement, and shared accountability.
  • Schedule and execute effective regular meetings and weekly GS&R (Goal Setting & Review) sessions with direct reports.
Financial & Budgetary Management
  • Maintain a high level of responsibility for company budget execution and oversight.
  • Confidently analyze and discuss financial and operational metrics with finance personnel and department heads.
  • Manage and sustain healthy cash flow and Accounts Receivable (A/R) to secure target gross margins.
Production & Operational Oversight
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to consistently meet or exceed company production goals.
  • Review job reports, Work in Progress (WIP), and customer relations metrics alongside the AGM.
  • Monitor backlogs, track contracts signed but not started, optimize WIP flow, and enforce quality control.
  • Manage and maintain active, compliant participation in insurance carrier programs.
Sales & Growth Strategy
  • Review sales objectives regularly and contribute strategic input to new sales initiatives.
  • Assess departmental staffing and operational changes required to sustain scaling efforts.
  • Represent the company and lead participation in business development events.
Key Requirements
  • Proven track record of managing operations, budgets, and P&L metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and elevate high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional stress tolerance and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills for financial reporting and client relationship management.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Business Management or related field
  • Three plus years’ experience in a Management role
  • Three plus years’ experience in a Project Management and/or Estimator role
  • Experience with reading and interpreting financial statements
Travel
This position will require up to 25% local travel to jobs sites, trainings, and company events (as needed).
