Job description

Summary:

This role oversees manufacturing operations to ensure product quality and employee safety. This role is responsible for meeting company objectives, ensuring customer satisfaction, and improving operational efficiencies. 

Essential Functions:
  • Build a culture of safety and drive to eliminate injuries.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts in yield, scrap, productivity, on-time delivery, lead times, and inventory.
  • Lead the drive for "first time right" quality and identify/implement cost savings initiatives.
  • Manage and leverage capabilities and capacities between the manufacturing sites to gain efficiencies in productivity, quality and transportation.
  • Implement systems to ensure consistency between sites and sharing of best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations or other related field.  May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 6+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience
  • Experience in implementing new practices/policies to ensure improvement in manufacturing process
