IAM Application Onboarding Team LeadRole Overview

We are seeking an experienced IAM Application Onboarding Team Lead to oversee the integration of enterprise applications into an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform. This individual will provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and collaborate with application owners, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable identity and access management solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong identity governance development experience with proven leadership capabilities and the ability to build effective partnerships across technical and business teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team responsible for onboarding enterprise applications into an Identity Governance platform.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members supporting application integrations and access governance initiatives.
  • Partner with application development teams, security organizations, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design access models, and establish onboarding roadmaps.
  • Coordinate integration activities through design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to onboarding processes, governance controls, and operational efficiency.
  • Support and enhance:
    • Application connectors and integrations
    • Workflow development and automation
    • Custom rules and scripting solutions
    • Access review and certification processes
    • Identity governance and compliance controls
    • Access policy management and enforcement
  • Ensure clear communication of project status, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones across stakeholder groups.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) technologies.
  • Proven experience leading application onboarding, identity integrations, or governance implementations.
  • Ability to mentor engineers and provide architectural and technical guidance.
  • Experience developing integrations using APIs, file-based interfaces, and database connectivity.
  • Strong understanding of access governance, provisioning, certification, and compliance processes.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success managing stakeholder relationships across multiple teams and business units.

Preferred Technical Experience
  • Identity governance platforms (SailPoint, Saviynt, Omada, or similar)
  • Java, BeanShell, PowerShell, or comparable scripting languages
  • REST/SOAP APIs and integration frameworks
  • Database connectivity and data transformation processes

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
