Overview: The Manager of Data and Analytics will lead a team responsible for designing, enhancing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise IT platforms that support Business Intelligence (BI), Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), and reporting capabilities, leveraging the Palantir Foundry platform.

What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and manage a team of data analysts and developers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Platform Strategy & Development: Oversee the design, development, and optimization of BI, AI/ML, and reporting solutions using Palantir Foundry.

Integration & Interoperability: Ensure seamless integration of data across business units to enable unified enterprise analytics and reporting.

Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing operational support and maintenance to ensure platform reliability, stability and performance.

System Resiliency: Collaborate with IT technical teams to identify and address system resiliency requirements.

Business Collaboration: Partner with business units and IT stakeholders to develop solutions and advise on various opportunities.

Governance & Compliance: Contribute to the development and improvement of enterprise-wide governance for Palantir Foundry, including data access policies, ontology standards, user provisioning, auditing, and risk mitigation.

Project Delivery: Drive timely execution of projects aligned with Kinder Morgan’s technology strategy and project methodology.

Core Data Management: Identify and integrate core datasets into BI and AI frameworks to support advanced analytics.

Monitoring & Automation: Develop automated reporting and monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve platform issues.

Flexibility & Availability: Respond to business needs during and outside standard working hours as required.

What You Need

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.

Technical Expertise:

  • 5+ years of relevant technology experience, including team leadership.
  • Proficiency in front-end tools (Visual Studio C#, Power BI, Palantir Foundry) and back-end ETL/automation (SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Python, PySpark).
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles and source code management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience building BI platforms using Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML programming languages (Python, PySpark, R).
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP.
  • Background in data science.
