PRS Auto is hiring a dedicated, safety-focused leader to oversee and drive daily operations at our TDSI / CSX auto facility in New Boston, Michigan. This key role involves managing the efficient unloading of new automobiles from railcars in a fast-paced, essential rail services environment.

Location: New Boston, MI Auto Facility

About the Role:
As Terminal Manager, you will lead day-to-day automotive operations while ensuring full compliance with AAR and manufacturer guidelines. You will guide a team of auto loaders and inventory staff, handle office responsibilities, and step in to support the team as needed. Your focus will be delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused service that consistently exceeds expectations in a dynamic environment.
This full-time salaried position supports a 24/7/365 operation. Schedules include non-standard hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays, with occasional extended shifts or on-call duties based on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead operations in line with industry standards and guidelines
  • Supervise, schedule, and support terminal staff while handling recruiting and problem resolution
  • Guide the team through complex operational challenges
  • Maintain high performance standards across the crew
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with customers, including railroads and auto manufacturers
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics using provided platforms
  • Participate hands-on in unloading activities when required
  • Champion safety awareness and enforce all company policies
  • Handle additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in a related field
  • Experience in automobile loading/unloading preferred but not required
  • Proven ability to solve problems quickly and implement improvements independently
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and seasonal workloads
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to pass federal background check, e-RAILSAFE certification, and drug screen

Physical Requirements:
The role is active and hands-on. You must be able to:
  • Lift 40 lbs overhead while standing
  • Climb ladders up to 20 feet
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Stand for extended periods, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, and handle tools/equipment
  • Maintain clear vision for day and night operations
