North America 4P Strategic Initiatives Business Lead
Description -
The North America Consumer PS business is a successful organization with a strong #1 PC marketshare position, exciting new products, and opportunities for continued future growth. The organization is looking for an experienced business driver to lead our 4P Strategic Plans for NA Consumer's overall business and key strategic initiatives. This individual will be asked to own these plans and work cross-functionally to develop and implement these plans to drive positive marketshare, revenue, and margin outcomes. In addition, this individual will be asked to investigate and partner to drive opportunities for margin enhancement. The individual must successfully operate in a complex environment and provide highly innovative solutions. They must develop strategy and set functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, Execute, and Track 4P Business and Strategic Initiative Plans at NA Consumer and US Consumer level.
  • Partner to Drive external NA Consumer Revenue/Profit Sharing Opportunities to positively impact both near-term and longer-term profitability.
  • Develop recommendations for incremental Marketshare, Revenue, and Margin Opportunities and formulates them into business plans.
  • Superior understanding of the category product, business management and sales challenges and strategies.
  • Actively contributes/leads the definition of the category business plan.
  • Establish relationships and represents team with sales force and other partners at senior level.
  • Product line and quota responsibility for a significant share of the product range, or a specific customer segment.
  • Functional responsibility for the team in one or several areas (market analysis, marketing engagement, SF communication etc).
  • Leads a subset of the team. Leads overall engagement with one or several sales teams.

Education and Experience Required:
  • University or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Strategy, Planning or Finance; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Typically 12+ years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experienced preferred.
  • Demonstrated Management/ Team leadership experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • IT industry knowledge, preferably in WW or NA Consumer PC Business
  • Superior business acumen
  • Business planning skills, multidimensional.
  • Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills at senior management internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.
  • Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing).

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $147,300 to $231,300 USD annually with a 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonuses and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
