Description
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, management, and security of the organization's IT infrastructure, including network, server, cloud, and endpoint environments. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of systems while supporting business operations and compliance requirements.
The Infrastructure Manager will lead infrastructure projects, manage IT staff, and develop standardized processes for systems, networking, and security while working closely with the Help Desk and business units.
The Infrastructure Manager will plan upgrades of existing software and hardware and provide a structured policy of standard equipment, software, connectivity protocol, and develop contingency plans for disaster recovery.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and networking
  • Manage Microsoft-based environments (Active Directory, Windows Server, M365, Azure)
  • Ensure uptime, performance, and scalability of systems and services
  • Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
  • Enforce IT security policies, standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., CMMC, NIST frameworks)
  • Manage infrastructure staff (Systems Admins, Network Engineers, Help Desk)
  • Act as escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Coordinate workload and prioritize projects and operational tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support business needs
  • Provide oversight for IT support related to infrastructure and enterprise systems

  • 2-3+ years of leadership or team management experience
  • Documented work history with expertise in the following IT fields:

o Windows Server / Active Directory environments
o Cloud infrastructure and security
o Virtualization platforms
o Networking
o Backup and disaster recovery solutions
