As Vice President of Shared Services, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and delivering results for a cross functional, centralized team to support the needs of the business in order to create long-term value for the company through efficiency and best practices. This role is experienced in ensuring systems and internal controls are adequate and can lead projects and leverage technology to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting and operational type processes.

  • Develops and communicates the shared services strategy throughout the organization in alignment with overall goals and objectives.
  • Leads and manages the current and future shared services functions, including order to cash, procure to pay, and continuous improvement.
  • Drives operational excellence by development and optimizing processes, standardizing workflows, and implementing best practices across shared services functions through robust change management execution.
  • Leverages performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to improve the performance and effectiveness of shared services.
  • Identifies opportunities for process automation and partners with IT/MIS and other functional groups for implementation of shared services technologies to drive efficiency and enhance service delivery.
  • Develops and manages the shared services budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation in line with business needs.
  • Provides effective leadership and oversight to support staff in their current roles. Provides career development support and learning.
  • Accountable for ensuring that The Limbach Way policies and procedures are established and maintained to drive compliance, mitigate risk, and safeguard company assets.
  • Champions a strategic approach to talent management by attracting, developing, and coaching employees, while advancing robust succession planning to drive strong team performance and ensure alignment with overall company strategy.
  • Oversees and holds Shared Services accountable for the execution of all SOX controls related to processes performed by the team.
  • Drives a strong customer centric philosophy including consistent and timely follow up, meeting with internal and external stakeholders to gather direct feedback to implement corrective actions.
  • Partners closely with branch teams, regional finance, People & Culture, Legal, and other key stakeholders to drive cross-functional alignment, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen overall business outcomes.

What You Need...
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience, including senior responsibility for large scale team management, shared services operations, and process design and optimization in a high growth environment.
  • Proven experience leading customer centric, service oriented organizations with a focus on operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose issues, drive resolution, and make sound decisions with limited supervision in complex environments.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage, align, and partner with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Deep experience in change management, with a track record of leading organizations through transformation, process standardization, and technology enabled improvements.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute operational strategies that improve efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA in an Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
  • Prior experience with Viewpoint Vista software.
