Job description

Working from the project site, the Project Controls Field Engineer is responsible for collaborating with the project site team to execute project controls functions on large complex projects to increase visibility of project schedule, performance, and risks. Conducts regular progress walks of the site to ensure physical progress is correctly represented in the schedule and project controls system.

Ideal candidates must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, have a general knowledge of the construction industry, analytical and problem solving skills, and have the ability to work independently and interact professionally with Project Managers, team leaders, and engineering staff.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school Diploma or GED Experience:

Experience: Four years of related experience

or

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Finance/Accounting

Travel: 100%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts site walks to verify physical progress
  • Updates schedules and project controls systems
  • Conducts ad hoc analyses to identify & present issues
  • Works with Subcontract partners progress measurement.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
