By bringing thousands of events and communities onto one platform, Flo creates scale where none previously existed, connecting passionate fans with the sports they love while giving athletes, organizers, and rights holders the tools to reach and engage a global audience.
Flo streams more than 50,000 live events annually across sports, including motorsports, wrestling, hockey, track & field, cheer, jiu-jitsu, NCAA Division II and III athletics, and more. We're looking for people who are passionate about sports, embody accountability, collaboration, curiosity, positivity, grit, and excellence, and are motivated to help grow and elevate the communities we serve.
THE ROLE:
FloSports, a leader and innovator in digital sports media, is currently seeking a Programming Coordinator to join our Operations team. The primary responsibilities include maintaining our calendar of live events and event critical details across various internal and external systems for all of our rights partnerships. This person will work cross-departmentally to gather necessary information of our live broadcasts and will continually seek out ways to provide a seamless flow of data from prospective event to live stream. This position is based in Austin, TX and reports to the Sr. Manager of Programming.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate with our partners and work cross-departmentally to ensure every event and the critical details (dates, production specifications...etc) of all potential and signed streaming agreements are entered and maintained across the FloSports platform
  • Advocates for and oversees process improvements around live broadcast scheduling workflows
  • Assists in strategic planning and scheduling of all our sports broadcasts
  • Perform data cleansing, data uploads and data exports within SalesForce
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards
  • Directly and indirectly through team, sets and ensures the highest levels of professionalism in all aspects

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Must possess strong communication skills and the proven ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proficient in Excel and strong data manipulation skills- must be comfortable working with large amounts of data.
  • Ability to prioritize, get things done accurately and manage multiple projects with ease.
  • Basic knowledge of the sports media industry.
  • Tech savvy and able to thrive in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Bonus points for experience with SalesForce and/or familiarity with reading and comprehending legal contracts is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
