Job description

We are looking for an Director of Operations- West Region to join our team with strong leadership and multitasking skills and the ability to handle high volume/busy operations while able to foster and maintain a positive work environment as well as a friendly and exceptional customer service.

Full Time

Dress code- Business casual/Jeans/Polo/ NO GRAPHIC t-shirts.

Hours- Generally Monday through Friday with flexibility for occasional holiday or weekend supervision. Schedule may vary based on operation & specific needs.

Essential Duties

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for all regional managers and branches within the assigned territory (East or West).
  • Partner with the EVP of Operations to execute national strategies while adapting to the unique needs of the region.
  • Ensure operational consistency, regulatory compliance, and safety across all assigned branches.
  • Oversee regional performance metrics, budgets, and long-term goals for operational improvement.
  • Lead operational initiatives to improve efficiency, inventory management, customer service, and logistics capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Finance, HR, IT, Sales, Procurement) to support strategic and operational goals.
  • Identify and share best practices across locations to support nationwide alignment.
  • Oversee capital projects, facility improvements, and technology upgrades within territory.
  • Develop and mentor Regional Managers, building strong leadership pipelines and succession plans.
  • Act as a key point of contact between senior field leadership and the EVP of Operations.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership in warehouse distribution or logistics, with at least 5 years managing multi-site operations.
  • Strong ability to align tactical regional performance with overall company strategy.
  • Proven record of managing complex logistics operations across multiple states or territories.
  • Expert communication, leadership, and change-management capabilities.
  • Skilled in financial analysis, budgeting, and operational planning.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory.
