Job description

Position Summary

In this role, you’ll help shape a learning culture that empowers team members across our organization to grow, lead, and succeed. You’ll design and deliver development programs that enhance leadership capabilities, strengthen clinical education, and support the mission and long-term strategies of WesleyLife.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Chief People & Culture Officer and other department leaders to design and implement a system-wide learning strategy aligned with WesleyLife’s mission, people strategy, and strategic goals.
  • Lead the design and delivery of leadership development programs for emerging leaders, new leaders, and senior leaders.
  • Oversee clinical education programs, including our Certified Nursing Assistant training, preceptor and mentoring programs, and initiatives to attract and retain clinical talent.
  • Manage and optimize our Learning Management System (Relias) to ensure engaging, compliant training experiences.
  • Support the design and implementation of performance management tools and feedback systems, including goal setting and development planning.
  • Partner on tracking and reporting key talent metrics to measure program effectiveness and support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to deliver impactful presentations and learning initiatives that drive business outcomes.
  • Contribute to broader People & Culture initiatives, such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, and well-being strategies.
  • Share our organizational learning strategies with senior leadership and our board of directors.

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience working in a similar role with a medium-to-large organization
  • College degree in organizational development, learning, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred in related field
  • Experience designing and delivering leadership programs for diverse levels of leadership
  • Nonprofit or healthcare experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory expectations and clinical education needs in healthcare or senior living preferred
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and talent development analytics
  • Previous experience with LMS (Relias) preferred
  • A collaborative, innovative spirit and a passion for helping people grow
  • A strong background in learning and development, organizational effectiveness, or leadership development
