Position Summary

As a Learning Experience Designer at RPM Living, you'll play a key role in shaping and continuously improving the learning experiences that prepare our associates to succeed in their roles.

This role goes beyond traditional instructional design and eLearning development. You'll partner with subject matter experts, business leaders, and the Learning & Development team to optimize role-specific learning experiences from end to end-identifying opportunities to simplify, modernize, and improve how associates learn and apply new skills.

You'll bring a modern learning mindset to your work, using the right approach for the learning need rather than defaulting to traditional courses. This may include eLearning, short-form videos, microlearning, job aids, practical activities, simulations, facilitated experiences, performance support, and emerging learning technologies.

We're looking for someone who is curious, creative, comfortable challenging the status quo, and excited to experiment with new ways of helping people learn. You'll stay current with learning industry trends and translate those ideas into practical, engaging, and scalable experiences for associates in multifamily roles.

Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize role-specific learning experiences that build the knowledge, skills, and confidence associates need to succeed.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, business leaders, and Learning & Development to translate business and learner needs into engaging, practical, and learner-centered solutions.
  • Leverage a modern learning ecosystem-including eLearning, short-form content, microlearning, live training, video, practice, simulations, job aids and performance support-selecting the right solutions for each need.
  • Develop digital learning experiences using tools such as Articulate 360, Synthesia, and emerging learning technologies.
  • Lead learning projects from concept through launch, managing discovery, timelines, priorities, stakeholders, deliverables, and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Facilitate learning experiences, workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder discussions with confidence.
  • Stay current on learning trends, technologies, and best practices and identify opportunities to evolve RPM's learning ecosystem.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve learning experiences using learner feedback, data, assessment results, and business needs.
  • Collaborate across Learning & Development to create scalable, connected learning experiences and serve as a resource for learning technology and LMS capabilities.
Education and Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related Learning & Development role. Experience designing learning solutions for a frontline audience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing eLearning, microlearning, performance support and digital learning solutions using tools such as Articulate 360, Synthesia and/or similar technologies. Experience developing and editing video content.
  • Ability to translate complex information into simple, engaging, and actionable learning experiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Comfortable facilitating learning experiences, workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and feedback to continuously improve learning solutions.
  • Experience with learning management systems and learning technology platforms.
  • Experience creating learning solutions using WalkMe or similar digital adoption platforms is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build partnerships in a virtual environment.
Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
