Job description


As an Individual Contributor, this role contributes to the design and delivery of learning programs that support organizational development. It partners with business units to assess training needs, develops instructional content, and leads corporate-wide initiatives to enhance employee performance.
Responsibilities
Specialist
  • Training Consultation and Development - Consults with business units to identify and design specialized training programs. Conducts a needs assessments, manages vendor relationships, and provides performance improvement consulting. Delegates and tracks project progress.
  • Corporate Initiative Leadership - Leads or participates in corporate-wide initiatives by developing project plans, identifying stakeholders, and managing deliverables. Collaborates with internal clients and consultants to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Instructional Content Creation - Designs and delivers e-learning and instructor-led training using multimedia elements such as video, animation, and simulations. Applies instructional design principles to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and effective.
  • Program Administration - Develops and manages employee development programs, including mentoring initiatives. Tracks participant progress, facilitates events, and ensures alignment with organizational needs.
  • Operational Support - Manages budgets, monitors expenses, and ensures compliance with policies for external programs such as Tuition Assistance and Professional Certification. Coordinates enrollment and logistics with internal systems and staff.
  • Leadership - Serves as a resource and mentor to staff.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Senior Specialist

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Equivalent work experience or certification(s) may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Specialist-Minimum 2 years of experience in training processes including planning, design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Senior Specialist-Minimum 3 years of experience in training processes including planning, design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced knowledge and skill proficiency in communication and instructional design.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in change management, consultation, cross-functional collaboration, customer experience, facilitation, learning development, program planning, project management, and technology literacy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
