Job description

Nonprofit association seeks a Director of Information Technology to provide strategic oversight of technology operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop IT strategy and implement technology initiatives that align with departmental objectives.
  • Regularly monitor network security and ensure systems are available and easily accessible to internal staff and external users.
  • Serve as a point of contact for external IT service providers while developing contracts and establishing policies and best practices related to data and systems.
  • Evaluate new technologies, recommend IT solutions, and identify opportunities to improve delivery and user experience.
  • Manage technology services, such as mobile devices and email systems.
  • Facilitate staff training in cybersecurity and data protection.
  • Maintain websites, portals, databases, and cloud-based communications platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with technology policies and regulations. 
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Customer-service oriented and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing environments.
  • Strong time management and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in information technology.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
