Job Description The Business Development Manager is a strategic fundraising professional responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of workplace giving campaigns and corporate partnerships. This role develops and implements fundraising strategies, strengthens key partner relationships, and uses campaign insights and performance data to increase donor engagement and revenue. Serving as a primary relationship manager and ambassador of organization's mission, this position requires sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to work independently while balancing strategy with day-to-day execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of workplace giving campaigns and corporate partnerships, with responsibility for account strategy, relationship stewardship, and revenue growth. Cultivate, maintain, and expand relationships with corporate partners through meetings, presentations, campaign activities, and ongoing engagement efforts. Develop and implement fundraising and engagement strategies to strengthen partner participation, increase donor support, and achieve campaign goals.

Analyze campaign and account performance, identify trends and opportunities, and recommend improvements to enhance results. Collaborate with internal teams to align campaign execution, partner communications, donor stewardship, and organizational messaging. Maintain accurate records and reporting in CRM and fundraising systems to support portfolio management, forecasting, and data-informed decision-making.

Represents organization at meetings, events, and community engagements as a visible and professional ambassador of the organization. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in fundraising, business development, account management, or a related field.

Experience managing multiple accounts, partnerships, or client relationships with responsibility for outcomes and follow-through. Experience using donor databases, CRM platforms, or similar systems to manage relationships and track performance. Skills & Knowledge Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage corporate partners and community stakeholders effectively.

Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment, manage a portfolio with minimal supervision, and make sound decisions that affect partner relationships and fundraising outcomes. Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM, fundraising, and collaboration platforms such as StratusLive, Monday.com, Ignite, Teams, Zoom, and SharePoint. Ability to learn and develop mastery of all electronic platforms used by organization for donor fundraising

Ability to analyze data, assess performance, identify trends, and translate findings into practical recommendations and action plans. Strong strategic thinking, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Collaborative, adaptable, and results-oriented, with a professional presence and strong customer service mindset.

Employment Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Must be able to travel regularly to partner and community locations across Oahu during the workday.
