Position SummaryThis role will support the Aetna Business Operations consolidated reporting team. You will be responsible for leading a team responsible for consolidating our financials, creating the management presentations and/or talking points for month close, forecast and budget as well as our multi-year strategic plan. You will also be responsible for driving standardization across the overall organization in the way work is done. This role will work closely with the Aetna Business Operations CFO's to ensure that our reporting is both accurate and timely and that we are getting to the why behind the key drivers. The successful candidate should exhibit strong communication skills, and the ability to consolidate/report results to business partners and management. This individual will be expected to be able to multi-task and prioritize multiple activities and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work independently within a guidance framework defined by management.
Fundamental components
  • Drive overall planning and analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity which may include financial metrics, process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Aetna Business Operations CFO's to understand the overall story and key drivers and ensure financial presentations and analysis are detailed and accurate
  • Assist in the development of ad-hoc analyses and actionable recommendations for senior leadership
  • Experience designing and executing organizational wide process improvements & automation
  • Be a creative problem solver within fast evolving environment and have ability to adapt to change

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant financial experience
  • Experienced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are needed along with experience with financial systems. Proficiency with Anaplan, Hyperion and S4 Hana.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare, managed care or financial services experience
  • Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or related field

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related field

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
