In the 21st century we live in a business culture that demands cost and logistical efficiencies combined with increased productivity. Lanter's strategic, process driven approach has been embraced by the marketplace and is setting new standards in the automotive and agricultural manufacturing marketplace. We see a bright future on the road before us and we are very excited about bringing our solutions to a variety of new industries.

The ideal candidate will embody our company's Non-Negotiables:

  • Walk in Humble Confidence - We are experts at what we do, but we never assume we know everything
  • Be Open, Honest and Respectful - We say what has to be said in a tactful, courteous way
  • Be Fearless - We never fail, we only learn
  • We are One Team - We achieve more together by collaboration and consensus
  • Delivery on Commitments - We do what we say we will do
  • We have a Passion to Serve - We are dedicated, hardworking individuals who provide exceptional service to our customers and to each other
  • We put Safety First - We prioritize the safety of our team members and customers above all else in our business
  • We Strive for Operational Excellence - We are dedicated to a culture of continuous improvements, driving quality and productivity

Position Summary:

As Manager of Technology Integration, you'll play a key role in strengthening how Lanter connects with customers across EDI, APIs, file transfers, and other system-to-system integrations. You'll lead the day-to-day integration function in a fast-moving environment where customer needs, production issues, and new implementations require strong technical judgment, rapid prioritization, and decisive problem-solving. You'll also work directly with customers on solution ideation, integration needs, escalations, and issue resolutions while helping build scalable, repeatable ways of working as Lanter grows.

Essential Duties and Key Deliverables:

  • Own intake, prioritization, resource planning, capacity management, and delivery across concurrent customer implementations, enhancements, and production needs.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customer integration concerns and production issues, driving timely triage, communication, and resolution.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across EDI, APIs, file-based integrations, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and related integration technologies.
  • Partner directly with customers throughout the integration lifecycle, including solution ideation, requirements discussions, and evolving integration needs.
  • Lead and manage the consultants supporting Technology Integration, including resources performing Integration Engineer and Integration Analyst responsibilities.
  • Establish scalable processes, resourcing practices, documentation, and reusable approaches that improve delivery consistency, team capacity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate across Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, Project Management, and other teams to manage dependencies and deliver on integration commitments.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise integration, B2B integration, integration engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical teams or integration delivery functions, including experience managing consultants or contract resources.
  • Strong hands-on experience with EDI, APIs, file-based integrations, and other system-to-system data exchange methods.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure integration technologies, including Azure Logic Apps and Azure Data Factory; experience with Azure Data Lake or comparable cloud data environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to lead solution discussions, collaborate on new ideas, navigate difficult conversations, and de-escalate customer concerns or issues.
  • Demonstrated experience with resource planning, capacity management, workload prioritization, and delivery across multiple concurrent customer and production demands.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate autonomously and make sound decisions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment requiring frequent triage and rapid prioritization.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or another operationally intensive environment where urgency, complexity, and customer responsiveness are critical.
  • Experience with legacy Microsoft BizTalk environments or migrations from BizTalk to modern Azure integration services.
  • Familiarity with Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, or comparable integration technologies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has supervisory responsibilities for the Technology Integration team, which currently consists of consultant resources.

Position Type:

This is a full-time, exempt position with remote flexibility. Ideally, the selected candidate will be based near our St. Louis, Missouri headquarters and able to work on-site as needed.

Core business hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Due to the customer-facing and production support nature of the role, occasional availability outside normal business hours is required for urgent escalations, implementations, or production issues.

Travel:

Travel may be required periodically for customer meetings, implementations, company meetings, training, or other business needs.

Work Environment:

This job is performed in a professional remote or office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and other job-related technology or systems. The team member may be required to sit for extended periods of time while working at a computer and communicating with internal and external business partners.

Physical Demands:

The team member is regularly required to listen, communicate verbally and in writing, sit for extended periods of time, use a computer and other office equipment, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Other Duties:

This job description is not designed to cover a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the team member for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may vary by location based on business needs and may change at any time with or without notice.
EEO Statement:

Lanter Delivery Systems provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all team members and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
