Job description

Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette (PPCW) is hiring a Manager of Brand & Marketing to lead marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand, engage our communities, and advance our mission. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Bring our mission to life through thoughtful, strategic marketing.
At PPCW, marketing is more than creating great visuals-it's about helping patients find care, connecting communities to our mission, and ensuring every interaction with our organization reflects who we are. As the Manager of Brand & Marketing, you'll lead marketing campaigns, steward our brand, and collaborate across the organization to deliver creative, high-quality communications that support patients, donors, volunteers, and staff.
You'll join a collaborative team committed to expanding access to sexual and reproductive health care while strengthening PPCW's visibility and impact throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
About the Role
The Manager of Brand & Marketing leads the day-to-day execution of PPCW's marketing and brand strategy.
Working closely with the Chief External Affairs Officer and departments across the organization, you'll oversee marketing campaigns, brand standards, creative production, website content, signage, and marketing workflows that support organizational priorities and patient-facing initiatives.
This role blends strategy with hands-on execution. You'll manage projects from concept through delivery while partnering with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to ensure every marketing touchpoint is consistent, accessible, and aligned with PPCW's mission.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll help shape how communities experience the Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette brand.
On a typical week, you might:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns from concept through launch
  • Maintain and strengthen PPCW's brand standards across digital, print, signage, and community-facing materials
  • Design and produce marketing assets including flyers, presentations, templates, signage, and promotional materials
  • Manage marketing requests, timelines, and creative workflows across departments
  • Coordinate with external designers, agencies, printers, and vendors on larger creative projects
  • Maintain website content and support social media channels to ensure content is current, engaging, and brand-aligned
  • Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Track marketing budgets, production timelines, and project deliverables

You'll play a central role in ensuring PPCW presents a cohesive, professional, and mission-aligned brand to patients, supporters, and communities.
Schedule & Location
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week).
Location: Flanagan Regional Service Center (FRSC), Northeast Portland, Oregon
Hybrid Schedule:
  • On-site at least two days per week (Tuesdays plus one additional day determined by the department)
  • Remaining days may be worked remotely
  • Remote work must be performed within Oregon or Washington

Work Hours:
  • Monday-Friday; 9:00am-5:00pm

Occasional evening, weekend, and local travel may be required to support meetings, events, or marketing initiatives.
What We're Looking For
We know great candidates come from a variety of backgrounds. If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply-even if you don't meet every qualification.
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Five or more years of experience in marketing, brand management, or communications
  • Strong project management and workflow coordination skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (or comparable design software), and marketing platforms
  • Experience creating professional-quality print and digital marketing materials
  • Experience with graphic design, visual communications, or production design, including preparing files for print and large-format signage

Nice to Have
  • Experience maintaining websites and digital content
  • Experience working with external creative agencies or vendors
  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations
  • Spanish language skills

Pay & Growth
Salary: $75,004 - $109,304 annually
Pay is based on experience and internal equity.
This role offers the opportunity to lead affiliate-wide marketing initiatives, shape PPCW's brand strategy, and collaborate across departments to advance patient engagement, community awareness, and organizational growth.
Benefits & Support
We offer a benefits package that supports your health, stability, and growth:
  • Paid time off (up to 4 weeks, increases over time)
  • 9 paid holidays
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees
  • 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching contributions
  • Free, confidential counseling and support (EAP)
  • Ongoing professional development and learning opportunities

Application Tips
Please include all relevant work experience on your application and resume. If you have a portfolio showcasing marketing campaigns, branding, graphic design, or other creative work, we encourage you to include it with your application.
We base offers on the experience shared during the hiring process and are not able to adjust compensation after an offer is made.
