Job description

Company Description

Domino’s Pizza, which began in 1960 as a single store location in Ypsilanti, MI, has had a lot to celebrate lately: we’re a reshaped, reenergized brand of honesty, transparency and accountability – not to mention, great food! In the rise to becoming a true technology leader, the brand is now consistently one of the top five companies in online transactions and 65% of our sales in the U.S. are taken through digital channels. The brand continues to ‘deliver the dream’ to local business owners, 90% of which started as delivery drivers and pizza makers in our stores. That’s just the tip of the iceberg…or as we might say, one “slice” of the pie! If this sounds like a brand you’d like to be a part of, consider joining our team!

Job Description

The Senior Network Engineer is a hybrid engineering and operations leader responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting enterprise network services across on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Reduce manual changes by building standardized templates and policy models
  • Explore and implement AI-assisted workflows to:
    • Identify redundant or unused rules
    • Recommend rule optimization or cleanup
    • Detect anomalies or misconfigurations in policy sets
  • Integrate firewall automation into CI/CD-style pipelines where applicable
  • Partner with security teams to align automation with governance and audit requirements

Cisco Meraki (Store / Branch / Edge)

  • Deploy and support Meraki MX/MS/MR infrastructure across distributed environments
  • Standardize configurations for rapid store/branch rollout
  • Automate repetitive tasks (config templating, provisioning, monitoring Workflows)
  • Develop AI monitoring capabilities with the goal of issue identification, notification and remediation within Meraki

Cisco Routing & Switching

  • Configure and support routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and enterprise switching
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues including packet-level analysis
  • Contribute to resilient network design and failover strategies

Azure Networking & Hybrid Connectivity

  • Design and manage Azure networking (VNets, subnets, routing, NSGs, connectivity)
  • Implement hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute / VPN) between on-prem and cloud
  • Align network patterns with secure cloud architecture principles

  • Evaluate and introduce AI-assisted tooling to:
    • Improve troubleshooting accuracy
    • Enhance observability and predictive insights
    • Support decision-making in network and security operations
  • Drive adoption of automation across the team (documentation, standards, mentoring)

Leadership Expectations

  • Act as a technical lead and escalation point across networking and security domains
  • Mentor engineers on both networking fundamentals and automation practices
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives (network, cloud, security, operations)
  • Influence roadmap decisions with focus on scalability, automation, and efficiency
  • Balance delivery of projects with ownership of operational health
Qualifications
  • 7+ years in enterprise network engineering (LAN/WAN/security/cloud)
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
