About the Role:
Job Summary
Manages relationships between NGHS and the surrounding community in assigned markets and oversees community engagement strategies. Focused on cultivating positive interactions and partnerships with civic organizations and local leaders, guiding networking for NGHS employees to engrain them in a community, and driving awareness and preference for NGHS services to help achieve volume, revenue and market share goals.
Minimum Job Qualifications
  • Licensure or other certifications:
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree in a communication related field.
  • Minimum Experience: Minimum three to five years experience in community relations, public relations, communications or related field.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community relations strategies and programs that align with the organization's goals.
  • Identify community needs and interests to inform program development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, residents, and stakeholders.
  • Assist with organization and coordination of community events, outreach programs, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Represent NGHS in communities across assigned market through civic group meetings, presentations, health fairs, etc.
  • Identify key NGHS stakeholders to attend community events and assist them with networking to build new relationships.
  • Ensure community relations efforts stay aligned with those of the rest of the Public Relations & Marketing team and NGHS overall.
  • Develop positive relationships with other members of the Public Relations & Marketing teams and operations throughout assigned market, in addition to the community at large.
  • May serve as media spokesperson and/or assist with crisis communications when needed.
