This role leads financial forecasting, category management, and data-driven analysis to optimize merchandising performance and profitability. Collaborating cross-functionally, the manager influences promotional strategies, budget development, and business decisions while ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards. By leveraging insights from market trends and customer behavior, this position drives continuous improvement and supports a high-performing team focused on delivering value and sustainable growth.

The team collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless inventory flow and timely issue resolution. Leveraging expertise in merchandising, category management, financial forecasting, and data analysis, the team supports informed decisions and drives successful business outcomes while maintaining operational excellence.
What you'll do:
  • Lead category and item-level financial forecasting using data analytics and business intelligence to project future results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align forecasting inputs and drive consensus on category performance and strategies.
  • Influence feature and promotional planning by analyzing historical data and assessing financial impacts on unit velocity and profitability.
  • Provide monthly financial reporting, highlighting business drivers, opportunities, and key action plans.
  • Develop and recommend category budgets and financial targets, integrating insights into fiscal planning systems.
  • Assess business health, identify root causes, and generate data-driven recommendations to improve customer and financial outcomes.
  • Communicate findings and strategic perspectives to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven expertise in merchandising and category management with strong financial forecasting capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and apply business intelligence to drive category performance and customer-centric decisions.
  • Experience managing profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities and developing actionable financial plans aligned with business goals.
  • Skilled in leveraging digital tools and data visualization to present insights and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic perspective with the ability to connect qualitative strategies to quantitative outcomes.
  • Effective communicator capable of building relationships and guiding teams to achieve results with integrity and accountability.
