About This Role

Mastercraft Electric, Inc. is looking to hire a qualified and energetic Low Voltage Project Manager/Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple low voltage electrical projects at once, as well a strong understanding of estimating potential jobs. Experience with telecommunications, access controls, surveillance and intrusion detection systems, audio/visual systems, and other aspects of low voltage systems are a must.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience estimating and managing low voltage projects
  • Degree in Construction Management or similar (preferred)
  • Experience in estimating and managing low volt electrical projects, ranging up to $20K-$3M in value
  • Highly experienced in telecommunications (Cat6 and Fiber-based)
  • Low voltage electrical trade experience (preferred)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all parties of the construction team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple jobs at once
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam


What You Will Do

  • Lead estimating efforts and deliver accurate, competitive proposals for all low voltage systems
  • Manage low voltage projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in line with client expectations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful project execution, clear communication, and long-term business growth
  • Collaborate with field technicians and foremen to coordinate manpower, scheduling, material deliveries, and installation activities while proactively resolving project challenges
  • Monitor project costs, track change orders, and maintain accurate forecasting of budgets, labor, and materials using project management and estimating software
  • Support business development efforts by identifying project opportunities, attending pre-bid meetings, and assisting with proposal development

Compensation:

  • $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year, based on experience
