The annual salary range for this role is $80-$100k.
Position Summary
As a Marketing Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the analytics and reporting systems that power day-to-day client insights and decision-making.
This role focuses on the front-end of analytics execution, including tracking implementation (GTM), dashboard development (Looker Studio), reporting workflows, and marketing data integrations such as offline conversion uploads.
You will work closely with Paid Media, SEO, Account Management, and the Analytics Director to ensure that:
  • Data is collected accurately
  • Reporting is clear and actionable
  • Measurement aligns with client goals

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on execution, solving tracking challenges, building dashboards, and ensuring data is both usable and trusted.

  • Tracking & Implementation - Deploying and QA'ing tracking via GTM and analytics platforms
  • Data Visualization & Reporting - Building dashboards and reports that translate data into insights

Functions and Responsibilities
Tracking Implementation & QA
  • Implement and maintain tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4
  • Support event tracking, data layer validation, and measurement setup across client websites
  • QA and troubleshoot tracking issues using browser tools and platform debugging tools
  • Ensure accurate deployment of marketing pixels and conversion tracking across platforms

Reporting & Data Visualization
  • Build and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio (and similar tools)
  • Translate client goals into clear, actionable reporting frameworks
  • Ensure reporting consistency, accuracy, and usability across accounts
  • Support recurring reporting and identify opportunities to improve clarity and efficiency

Marketing Data & Platform Integration
  • Support offline conversion uploads and platform integrations (e.g., Google Ads, CRM systems)
  • Assist in aligning data across analytics, ad platforms, and other marketing tools
  • Help troubleshoot discrepancies between platforms and reporting sources
  • Collaborate with Paid Media teams to ensure proper measurement of campaign performance

Analytics Support & Collaboration
  • Partner with Account Managers and channel teams to interpret performance data
  • Support implementation of measurement plans and tracking requirements for new initiatives
  • Assist in audits of existing tracking and reporting setups
  • Collaborate with the Analytics Manager to escalate more complex data or infrastructure needs

Skills, Traits, & Abilities
Required
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital analytics, marketing analytics, or similar roles
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Experience building dashboards in Looker Studio or similar visualization tools
  • Understanding of event-based tracking, conversions, and marketing measurement concepts
  • Experience QA'ing and troubleshooting tracking implementations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple client priorities and deadlines
  • Clear communication skills, especially explaining data to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to translate complex and often siloed data into actionable insights

Strongly Preferred
  • Experience with offline conversion uploads or CRM to ad platform integrations
  • Familiarity with data layers and basic JavaScript for tagging/debugging
  • Experience working with paid media or SEO teams in a marketing environment
