Account Manager, The Marketing Studio

Position Summary 

The Account Manager serves as the primary marketing partner and strategic advisor to assigned business stakeholders, translating business objectives into integrated marketing solutions that drive growth and measurable results. 

Working within Gallagher's Marketing Studio, our in-house agency, this role is responsible for stewarding marketing requests from initial intake through delivery, ensuring work is aligned to business goals, audience needs and marketing best practices. The Account Manager serves as the bridge between stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams including creative, content, digital, social, web, production and campaign specialists. 

Success in this role requires a strong client-service mindset, the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment, and experience managing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality marketing solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced agency or agency-like environment, enjoys building trusted relationships, and is skilled at transforming business challenges into effective integrated marketing campaigns. 


How you'll make an impact

Stakeholder & Relationship Management 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned marketing stakeholders, building strong relationships founded on trust, consultation and exceptional service. 
  • Partner with business leaders and marketing teams to understand strategic objectives, identify opportunities and recommend integrated marketing solutions. 
  • Guide stakeholders through the creative and campaign development process while managing expectations around scope, timelines, priorities and outcomes. 
  • Act as an advocate for both stakeholder objectives and Marketing Studio best practices, balancing business needs with creative and operational excellence. 

Marketing Brief Stewardship 

  • Lead intake, discovery and planning discussions to identify business goals, target audiences, success metrics and project requirements. 
  • Own and steward marketing briefs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring objectives, requirements and deliverables are clearly defined and aligned before work begins. 
  • Translate business goals and stakeholder needs into actionable creative, content, digital and campaign requirements for cross-functional teams. 
  • Ensure all team members have the information, context and approvals necessary to execute successfully. 

Integrated Campaign Management 

  • Manage the end-to-end development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives across multiple channels including digital, web, content, social media, advertising, events, public relations and lead generation programs. 
  • Facilitate collaboration across creative, content, digital, web, production and marketing operations teams to ensure seamless execution and on-time delivery. 
  • Coordinate priorities, workflows and timelines across multiple concurrent projects. 
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and implement solutions to maintain timelines and campaign objectives. 

Performance & Business Insights 

  • Partner with marketing and business leaders to establish campaign objectives, success metrics and performance expectations. 
  • Monitor campaign results and analyze performance to identify trends, opportunities and recommendations for optimization. 
  • Conduct competitive, industry and audience research to support strategic planning and campaign development. 
  • Measure and communicate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives in driving engagement, lead generation and business outcomes. 

About You

Qualifications 

Ideal candidates will have experience in a creative, digital, interactive or integrated agency environment and excel in client-facing roles where they serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and multidisciplinary marketing teams. 

Required 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field. 
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in account management, client services, integrated marketing, campaign management or related marketing roles. 
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and complex marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-management skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence and collaboration. 
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Workfront or similar workflow management tools. 
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
