Job Qualifications

To be considered for the General Manager position candidates must demonstrate the following:

  • 2+ years of experience as a General Manager, Managing Partner, or Multi-Unit Manager in a full-service restaurant concept
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and manage stress in a high-volume dining environment
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing P&L, food costs, and labor budgets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and hold accountable a full management team

  • Willingness to make an initial monetary deposit and enter into an employment agreement as required


Job Responsibilities

As the General Manager in Framingham, MA, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all facets of restaurant operations to ensure consistently high standards of food quality and guest service
  • Enforcing compliance with all employment policies, supported by the management team
  • Directing the work of the management team, setting weekly schedules, and assigning areas of responsibility to Restaurant Managers
  • Managing performance through weekly directionals, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary action
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring both management and hourly employees
  • Providing full oversight of food, labor, and liquor costs to maintain profitability
  • Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling labor costs effectively
  • Managing weekly and monthly P&L reporting
  • Planning, preparing, and overseeing weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and budgets
  • Verifying that audit, ESF, daily Taste & Temp, and training standards are consistently upheld
  • Overseeing cleanliness and safety standards throughout the restaurant
  • Enforcing appropriate security measures to maintain the safety of employees and guests
  • Managing incentive programs for both management and hourly staff
  • Overseeing the development of key employees and managers, including training in employment policies and practices
  • Acting as the primary liaison with all vendors and support center contacts
  • Maintaining and modeling the core values of the organization every single day
