What you'll do

The Global Supply Chain - Logistics Solutions team is responsible for software and systems that support TJX's world-class Logistics and Customs Declarations functions.

Logistics encompasses all business operations dealing with moving merchandise from our vendors to our processing centers and eventually to our stores all the while managing all business operations to do with customs declarations.

Our team is looking for Product Management Manager with a passion for product management, technology, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to try new things to drive better solutions and get results. We want creative people that possess strong interpersonal skills to demonstrate leadership by example, not authority, and who can foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels heard.

As a Product Management Manager in the Logistics Team, you will have overall responsibility for one or more products, as part of our overall Logistics product roadmap. You will:

  • Own the product vision and roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to define and evolve the product strategy
  • Champion customer needs: Act as the voice of the customer, translating business goals into product features and technical enablers
  • Lead cross-functional delivery: Work closely with engineering, architecture, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Drive product development: From ideation to launch, guide the full lifecycle of your products, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Mentor and influence: Share your expertise with product owners across the team, supporting their growth and development
  • Enhance agile practices: Use your SAFe Agile experience to improve team ways of working and foster continuous improvement

What you'll bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in product management, ideally within logistics or supply chain domains.
  • Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A strong engineering mindset with hands-on understanding of IT solution design, build, and implementation
  • Comfort with a range of technical approaches, including SaaS configuration, integration, custom development, low code/ no code and AI-enabled solutions
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to set clear direction for scrum teams
  • Experience collaborating with vendors, partners and third-party service providers to ensure successful integration of their solutions with the company's ecosystem
  • Experience negotiating contracts, managing relationships and ensuring compliance with service level agreements
  • Experience with global trade compliance in logistics, including customs, regulatory requirements, and crossborder processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in product management and technology
  • 3-5+ years of experience leading and managing product teams
  • Owner of creating, managing & prioritizing product features, using a backlog, including advanced ability to serve as the ultimate authority; agrees upon DoD & supports the flow of work at the Program layer
  • Owns outlining & prioritizing enabler work including ensuring work is understood & execution coincides with business value work
  • If part of an ART, is an active participant with advanced skills in ART ceremonies and associated responsibilities.
  • Responsible in identifying customers and stakeholders including expert skills with client/stakeholder management both internal & external. This includes representing their business value needs & validation of proposed solutions and creating a product vision
  • Works effectively with all levels and roles including fully understanding R&Rs of the PO, team, stakeholders & other teams
  • Works with Epic Owners to develop Lean Business Case for Epics, or if an Epic Owner, will develop & manage the Lean Business Case
  • People Manager with direct reports (Product owners and Analysts) including alignment & adherence to HR compliance regarding staff management
  • Strong team management and organization skills; ability to lead, motivate, coach, and direct a global workgroup
  • Strong performance management skills to include coaching, goal setting, holding team members across multiple levels accountable for commitments
  • Responsible for managing vendor relationships including expertise in ensuring targeted vendor deliverables meet our product needs including timely alignment
  • Drives product innovation
  • Knowledgeable and supportive regarding creation & execution of product SOWs
  • Participant & reviewer of RFPs
  • Experience managing a global function in a complex, multi-national corporate setting with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong experience with SAFe and agile development methodologies
  • Understanding of Technology architecture, design patterns, nonfunctional requirements, and best practices
  • Experience working on Enterprise Application Integrations and Automations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM) preferred
  • Logistics domain experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Cloud experience (Azure, AWS)
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Aha, VSTS, or similar
  • Experience in Research and Development, Product Innovation
  • SDLC for modern full-stack web applications [.NET, C#, SQL, Angular, Blazor]
  • Exposure to diverse portfolio of applications is a plus
  • Exposure to modernization practices
  • Experience specifying required configuration of 'off the shelf' products to deliver business value
