HR Manager – Warehouse Operations (Onsite – Romeoville, IL)

Pay Rate: $40/hr (W2)
Location: Romeoville, IL 60446
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Onsite | 40 hrs/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead human resources operations for our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on HR experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, strong employee relations expertise, and a passion for creating a positive and compliant workplace culture.

This role will oversee day-to-day HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, orientation, compliance, and close collaboration with Talent Acquisition to support warehouse staffing needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for warehouse employees and managers.

  • Manage employee relations, performance issues, and conflict resolution with professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure smooth onboarding experiences.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all HR policies and labor laws.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify hiring needs, assist with interviews, and coordinate offers for warehouse roles.

  • Support engagement and retention initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.

  • Advise leadership on HR policies, procedures, and legal compliance.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

  • Solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to build trust and strong relationships with employees and management.

  • Must be onsite daily at the Romeoville, IL location.
