Founded in 2016, Tube Supply provides quality steel tube and bar in alloy, stainless, and carbon for oil and gas applications, including drilling, completions, production, and downhole tools.  Our steel tubular and bar products are tailored specifically to meet the demands of the oil and gas industry, including high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) and sour (H2S) well environments. Description of Responsibilities:

 

Fleet Leadership & Oversight

  • Lead and manage the traffic departments for all Tube Supply locations
  • Ensure consistent execution of fleet and logistics strategy across all locations
  • Establish clear accountability, performance expectations, and reporting cadence

Fleet Operations

  • Oversee routing, scheduling, dispatch, and utilization of company fleet
  • Monitor key metrics (on-time delivery, cost per mile, utilization)
  • Standardize operating procedures across all branches

Driver & Safety Management

  • Ensure strong driver performance and accountability through local managers
  • Promote a zero-tolerance safety culture
  • Support hiring, training, and development of drivers

Compliance

  • Ensure full DOT, FMCSA, and regulatory compliance across locations
  • Maintain driver files, HOS records, and fleet documentation
  • Lead accident review, investigations, and corrective actions

Logistics & Freight Management

  • Oversee inbound, outbound, and intercompany freight
  • Manage carrier relationships, rates, and service performance
  • Resolve delivery issues and improve service reliability

Maintenance & Asset Management

  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs and fleet lifecycle
  • Manage capital planning for trucks, trailers, and equipment
  • Control maintenance costs and uptime

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Track and report KPIs: cost per mile, OTD, fleet utilization, safety metrics
  • Drive visibility and operational control across all locations
  • Identify gaps and implement corrective actions

Budget & Cost Control

  • Manage fleet and logistics budgets
  • Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities
  • Ensure alignment with financial targets without sacrificing service

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience  in fleet, logistics, or transportation management
  • Experience managing multi-site operations and leadership teams
  • Strong knowledge of DOT and compliance requirements
