Job Description
The chief objective of the Live Streaming Events Support Associate position at Old Dominion University is to ensure the seamless execution of live streaming events, providing a high-quality and engaging experience for both on-campus and remote participants. The associate will leverage their technical expertise to set up, troubleshoot, and maintain audio, video, and streaming equipment, expanding audience reach, fostering inclusivity, and supporting the university's mission of providing quality education through digital means.

Considerable skills in operating audio/video equipment, configuring streaming setups, and using video editing software.
Some experience coordinating with production teams and stakeholders to ensure successful live streaming events.
Conditions of Employment
Hourly (wage) employees are restricted to working 29 hours per week on average or 1500 hours in total in the May 1 - April 30 period. This position does not have health insurance, retirement or leave.
This is a campus based position in Norfolk, VA. Typical hours are between 9:00 and 5:00, some responsibilities will include occasional weekends or evenings.
Annual Salary/Hourly Rate
Salary non-negotiable $ - 20.23 per hour
