Job description

We are seeking a skilled Learning Experience Designer to join our team on a contract basis . As a Learning Experience Designer , you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for our clients. Your responsibilities will include researching and developing high-quality learning content, designing interactive activities, and collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional learning solutions. This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities
  • Design learning solutions to drive mindset, skill, and behavior change to achieve business outcomes
  • Research and develop learning content on various subjects, and deploy them as part of a blended learning strategy
  • Develop training materials that align with a blended training delivery strategy, including but not limited to: web-based training (WBT), instructor-led (ILT), virtual (vILT), and hands-on practical training
  • Design interactive activities, such as simulations, role-plays, and group discussions, to enhance learner engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of learning content
  • Develop clear and concise learning objectives, outcomes, and assessments
  • Create engaging and visually appealing learning materials, including presentations, handouts, learning aids and facilitator guides
  • Ensure learning content is aligned with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure seamless delivery of learning solutions
  • Measure impact and quickly revise content/modality to address specific feedback, as needed
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the highest quality of learning content and activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design
  • Proven experience in researching and developing learning content
  • Experience in designing interactive activities and simulations
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with an ability to think outside the box for innovative learning solutions
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, and Microsoft 365; minimum 2 years experience in Storyline 360 required
  • Experience with multimedia and graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
