Position Summary...The Program
During the 2-year program, you will experience 3 distinct areas through 8-month rotation. You will work on challenging and innovative, strategically relevant projects that drive our business forward and create value for our customers. You will be immersed directly into the regular activities of our Controllership and Audit teams supporting various areas of the organization, including Strategy, Operations, Merchandising, Treasury, Global Controller’s Office, Audit, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Real Estate in one of our business segments: Walmart US, Sam’s Club, International, or Corporate. You will gain broad accounting experience while working in a dynamic team environment. 
About the team:
The Accounting Leadership Development Program (ALDP) exists to build the next generation of accounting leaders for Walmart. As part of the Accounting Leadership Development Program, associates contribute to high-visibility projects that influence enterprise-wide business decisions across Walmart U.S., Sam’s Club, International, and Corporate functions. From strengthening controls and improving processes to supporting strategic initiatives and executive decision-making, the team plays a critical role in protecting the company’s financial foundation while shaping the future of the business.   • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 2–5 years of experience in public accounting, audit, or related accounting roles; CPA designation preferred.

  • Your style must be forward and persuasive as you’re asked to solve real business problems with a high degree of complexity and ambiguity.
