Job description

Mayvin is looking for a proven Senior Business Development/Capture Manager to drive high-value federal pursuits from opportunity identification through proposal submission. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret clearance with TS eligibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop capture strategies for business opportunity pursuits, identify potential customer targets, conduct competitive assessments, coordinate teaming strategies and agreements, develop key win themes, and support pricing strategies.
  • Work closely with the business development team including the Proposal Manager, executive leadership, corporate management, and program managers in support of capture, business development, proposal, and corporate activities
  • Write, edit, and review proposal content
  • Develop and manage win decks and capture plans to build revenue and profit growth within targeted accounts
  • Lead solution development and contribute to the competitive proposal development in partnership with proposal team, Subject Matter Experts, and operations to build winning bids
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • Engage with government agencies, attend industry events, and participate in networking activities to enhance the company's Justice and Homeland Security domains
  • Prepare and provide information and decision briefings for Executives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Retired or separated from DOJ, DHS, or other relevant Federal agency
  • Minimum 8 years' experience as BD/Capture Manager within Federal agencies
  • Experience in capture management, business development, proposal, and Shipley processes
  • Proven track record developing and capturing ($50M+) opportunities in Full & Open programs across the DOJ, DHS, and other Federal Markets, as well as use of GWACs/IDIQs vehicles to secure new or existing business
