About the Role
As a client-focused Relationship Manager on our Commercial team you will serve as the overall strategic owner of assigned client relationships and be accountable for driving long-term revenue growth, client retention, client satisfaction, and expansion opportunities across your portfolio. You will develop and execute proactive account strategies, strengthen customer partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and align Element's products and services to support client success. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional leadership, executive relationship management, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver measurable business results.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary owner and executive steward of assigned client relationships across the full customer lifecycle, responsible for overall client health, retention, growth, and long-term strategic partnership success.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies and annual portfolio plans designed to achieve revenue growth, client retention, pricing optimization, contract renewals, and expansion opportunities across the assigned client portfolio.
  • Maintain proactive engagement with clients to understand business priorities, operational challenges, growth initiatives, and evolving requirements through Know Your Client (KYC) strategies and executive relationship management.
  • Identify, qualify, and drive strategic growth opportunities including cross-sell, upsell, share-of-wallet expansion, new service adoption, and multi-regional opportunities.
  • Partner with clients to develop value-driven solutions aligned to customer goals while managing objections, escalations, risks, and client concerns.
  • Lead proactive client renewal strategies including RFP management, pricing negotiations, contract strategy, and commercial optimization.
  • Maintain portfolio visibility and operational discipline through Salesforce.com (SFDC), including forecasting, relationship plans, opportunity management, pipeline management, and executive account summaries.
  • Analyze portfolio performance and market trends to identify strategic opportunities, competitive threats, and revenue acceleration opportunities.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional engagement across Sales, Client Success, Operations, Strategic Consulting, Ordering, Product, Finance, and other internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Drive execution of customer engagement plans while collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues, improve client satisfaction, and achieve client objectives.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience managing and growing a portfolio of existing client relationships.
  • Experience developing account strategies, retention plans, and commercial growth initiatives.
  • Strong executive relationship management and client engagement skills.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional business teams.
  • Commercial acumen with experience supporting revenue growth, renewals, and pricing optimization.
  • Ability to manage complex customer relationships while working independently.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: College/University degree preferred.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com (SFDC) or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience supporting clients across North America and Latin America.
  • Knowledge of account planning, pipeline management, and opportunity management.
  • Experience aligning products and services with customer business objectives.
  • Strong strategic planning, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • For Canada Only Fluency in French and English an asset

Location: Remote, USA
Compensation
The hiring base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $132,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
