Job description

As a Lead Account Manager for Advanced Detection at Honeywell Technologies, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's success. Your expertise in managing key accounts and building strong relationships will enable you to effectively meet customer needs and exceed their expectations.

You will report directly to our Director of Sales, and you'll work remotely with traveling expectations of 75% or more.

In this role, you will impact the company significantly by managing and growing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and contributing to the company's overall financial success. Your ability to build strong relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions will enhance customer satisfaction, strengthen the company's market position, and drive long-term business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and nurture relationships of key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for end-users, architects and engineers, and authorities having jurisdiction
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth

The annual base salary range for this position in California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington State (excluding most major metropolitan areas); and anywhere in Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, and Vermont is $166,000 - $207,000. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in life safety account management or sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth
