Position:Territory Sales Manager/ Key Accounts

Reports to Title:Sales Director, Key Retail Accounts

Position Overview

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and increasing net hearing instrument market share by developing and maintaining strong relationships with hearing care professionals across the assigned territory.

Essential Functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual net sales quotas for hearing instruments.
  • Travel within the assigned territory, including regular in-person visits and overnight travel.
  • Execute a strategic territory business plan to achieve revenue and market share growth.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of products and accessories to support consultative sales conversations.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups in Salesforce CRM.
  • Proactively engage customers to resolve any quality or service issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hearing aid centers in the assigned region.
  • Complete appropriate sales and corporate reporting requirements in a timely fashion.
  • Represent at customer events and conferences as a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and presentation skills when presenting GN technology.
  • Operate independently within the territory, effectively managing time, travel, and priorities to maximize customer engagement and sales results.
  • Develop customer-facing presentations and deliver engaging product demonstrations, trainings, and educational sessions for hearing healthcare professionals.

Competencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.)

  • Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Must have experience with database management Follow the HR policy including all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Exemplary platform skills.
  • Follow good safety practices in all activities.
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers, and business partners.
  • Take personal initiative for technical and professional development.
  • Safeguard sensitive and confidential Company information.

Desired Qualifications

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree required; Doctor of Audiology (AuD) preferred.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of medical device or healthcare industry sales experience required.
  • Clinical audiology or hearing healthcare experience preferred.
  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and territory growth objectives.

Travel: Up to 75%

Working Environment: Field Based

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 15lbs at a time, sitting, walking, standing

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Salaried position, Monday - Friday but may have evening requirements at times.

Pay Transparency Notice:

Total annual compensation for this position includes a competitive base pay, along with performance-based commissions that reward you for your contributions to the company's success. Depending on your work location, the annual base pay for this position may range from $80,000 to $100,000 and the total annual compensation, including at-plan commissions, may be around $150,000 to $170,000. Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience. To remain competitive, GN offers a competitive benefits package, including annual bonuses, health insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and paid holidays.
