Job Summary:

This position reports to the Director of Sales and Service and will be responsible for managing customer accounts, generating quotes, providing applications support, maintaining existing customer relationships, generating new sales leads and providing new product guidance to engineering and management based on customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage assigned customer accounts.

Work with Director of Sales to develop strategies to increase sales and accomplish company financial goals.

Identify critical decision makers and influencers within customer accounts and develop successful working relationships.

Manage sales from quote through production, installation, support, and end of life.

Provide advanced applications support to our customers.

Assist with parts and product costing, working closely with Manufacturing, Field Service and Engineering.

Contact current customers to offer service, trade-ins, and upgrades.

Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Management, communicating customer preferences, trends and actions of competitors.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or other related field, or equivalent experience.

5 years of relevant experience in a technical sales role.

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand mechanical, electrical, and software systems.

Strong understanding of business principals.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including advanced Excel skills.

Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree (MBA, MSEE, etc.).

7+ years of experience in a technical sales role.

Inside sales or customer support experience with a technical product.
