Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that may include major strategic customers within a geographic or industry focus | Identifies, develops and typically closes new sales opportunities | Creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers | Achieves revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account | May conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies | Responsibilities are within the Account/Relationship Management Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will be managing a large account, with potential to go to other accounts in the area to open up new business. The primary focus is to maintain stability and grow business by creating value with our chemical programs and technical services. Additionally, you will have a technician supporting the business at the main large account. You will be involved in helping to direct the technician.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Science, engineering, or other technical degree).
  • Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree. Several years of industry experience (pulp and paper or water treatment preferred)
  • Experience selling chemicals in the pulp and paper industry or other significant paper industry experience.
  • Drive for results and continuous improvement of safety and chemical programs,
  • Experience working with multi levels in an organization to achieve results
  • Good communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Ability to document and present product and service value to the customer
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office ability (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
