Job Summary
The Division of Continuing Education offers non-credit courses for personal enrichment throughout the year within communities located in Bowie, Corinth, Denton, Flower Mound, Champions Circle, Gainesville, and Graham.
We are currently seeking individuals with skills in the following areas to teach and/or propose new classes: Art, Cooking/Culinary, Creative Writing, Finance/Money Management, Gardening, Language, 3-D Printing/ Robotics, STEM, Handicrafts, Health/Fitness, Hobbies, History, Jewelry Making, Music/Dance, Pets, Photography, Recreational. (Please view this category on our web page for examples of topics.) Classes are held evenings and weekends.
Please note: This posting is used to create a pool of applicants for future use. There is no timeline expectation attached. You will be contacted as the course catalog is being built at the beginning of each semester.
Rate of pay: $22 per hour, up to 19 hours a week.
Responsibilities and Duties:• Treats students and colleagues with respect.
• Active involvement in issues of institutional effectiveness including student learning outcomes, program level outcomes, and marketable skill achievement.
• Focuses teaching and outreach efforts on student success.

Required Skills & Abilities
Passion for subject matter and ability to enthusiastically share what you know! Flexible, strong organizational and community skills. Must be able to operate computers and other relevant technology, such as digital signatures.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
Required Experience
2+ years of experience in field of topic proposed.
Preferred Experience
Teaching experience with ability to deliver course outcomes and content through a variety of teaching/learning styles.

Subject to criminal background check. Employees must reside in Texas or Oklahoma. Certification/unofficial transcripts required in addition to application dependent on the class. Salary is $22/ hourly, with no more than 19 hours a week.
