Position Type: Temporary (Potential for Full-Time Employment)
Location: North Houston – 77073
Salary: $20.00 an hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented International Logistics Specialist (INTAM Specialist) to join our international operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational logistics experience who is looking to grow their career in international freight and transportation. The position will begin as a temporary assignment with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily international logistics and freight operations.
  • Learn to prepare and provide customer quotes for international shipments.
  • Assist with shipment coordination and documentation.
  • Generate reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Enter and manage shipment data within the CargoWise operating system.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the shipping process.
  • Learn and follow company procedures for international logistics and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Some experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or freight forwarding preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Automated Export System (AES) is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Comfortable learning new software systems; experience with CargoWise is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent typing, organizational, and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
