This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, which includes the ability to work from home, while also requiring to be in person as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.
Responsibilities
The IT Manager, Information Security Awareness, will support and advance global programs that increase visibility and understanding around information security best practices that reduce risk to our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving security awareness and secure behaviors through trust-based, data-driven campaigns, phishing simulations and education. You'll also be instrumental in helping to reduce human risk by using program analytics to identify gaps and reinforce a security-first culture.
As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for hiring, managing and leading a cross-functional team of awareness specialists (as well as liaising with other experts and vendors) to execute program roadmaps that integrate risk reduction approaches, messaging, education, etc. The ideal candidate has experience with technology and data-based decision making, as well as information security.
In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to work closely with executive leaders in IT and other key business teams, so experience consulting with and influencing leaders at all levels will be key.
Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and oversight of the Security Awareness Program, including risk identification, program road mapping and collaboration with teams across IT to leverage the right communication, education channels and audience targets.
  • Lead, inspire and develop a team of awareness specialists; partner closely with team members within the broader IT Communication department.
  • Educate team members through programming focused on phishing, password security, social engineering, AI, data protection and more.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and visualization to assess program performance and outcomes; identify opportunities to reduce risk through education.
  • Partner with the Information Security Office to develop risk profiles and plans to remediate through education and testing.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging risks and trends through the ongoing review of internal data and industry intelligence.
  • Partner with IT and corporate teams to identify operational security requirements, educate and provide feedback to system/business owners to address potential gaps.
  • Influence teams to meet program objectives and comply with applicable regulations, contracts and standards.
  • Think globally about Security Awareness services and impact, including how services could be effectively scaled to include affiliates, licensees and franchisees.

Required:

  • Experience with vendor/third party management and negotiation
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred
  • Technology Security certifications (SSAP, CSAP, etc.) are a plus
  • Experience working with a creative agency a plus
