Self-awareness - recognize strengths, weaknesses, and emotions in oneself and others Energetic- brings enthusiasm and direction to the team Driven- works with a sense of urgency in all tasks Achievement-oriented- enjoys taking on challenges Minimum Qualifications Six years of experience in information technology; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in information technology; OR An associate's degree in information technology plus four years of experience in information technology; OR A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in information technology; OR A bachelor's degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field plus three years of experience in information technology; OR A master's degree plus three years of experience in information technology.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. NOTE: A certification in an approved area may be substituted for the education and/or experience requirements at the time of hire or promotion, provided the appointment is made from a Certificate of Eligibles.

Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: Supervise, set goals and expectations to a highly skill and motivated team. Provide guidance, support, and feedback to team members to help them achieve their goals and develop professionally.

Provide technical expertise and leadership to the development team, including guidance on architecture, design, and implementation. Manage project plans, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of software applications. Ensure high-quality software delivery by implementing quality assurance processes, such as unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Track team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Deliver software applications on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Supervises and maintains a comprehensive understanding of current technologies, emerging trends, and industry best practices, applying this knowledge to optimize team performance and drive innovation.

Address conflicts or issues promptly and professionally. Provide regular feedback, coaching, and guidance to team members to help them grow professionally. Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: This vacancy may be filled as a Probation, Promotion, or Detail to Special Duty.

Current classified permanent status employees may be required to accept a Probational Appointment. TRSL will consider candidates eligible for full-time work/practical training in Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT) student status.
