Job description

Job Duties:
  • Schedule, monitor, and oversee the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of customized business systems software applications for multiple projects.
  • Maintain client relationships and meet regularly with Senior Management.
  • Manage the development and delivery of systems software using a combination of market-critical skills and experience in areas such as financial services and other business domains, computer languages, operating systems, methodologies, testing and reporting tools, business analysis, and other software systems/tools.
  • Collaborate with superiors in conducting risk analysis, budgetary and quality assurance, and interfacing with the client.
  • Select, monitor, and interface with offshore software development teams, including managing quality control and compliance with the delivery schedule for the entire project life cycle.
Requirements:
  • Master's or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Math, Business, Technology (any), or related, and 3 years of experience in Information Technology (IT)/engineering or IT-related consulting/business.
  • In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's or equivalent in the above-stated fields plus 7 years of progressively responsible experience in the above-stated occupations. 
  • All must have 3 years of IT project, technical, or functional management experience and 1 year of experience in any 4 tools/technologies across the following categories with at least 2 from one category: Programming Languages and Web Technologies; Development Frameworks and Tools; Databases; Data Management; Cloud Services & DevOps; Networking; Enterprise Software and Business Applications; Testing & QA Tools; Security & Compliance Tools; Integration Services; Project Management Methodologies & Tools; Embedded Systems & Hardware Programming; Hardware Interfaces & Components; Circuit, RF, and Thermal Design; Robotics & Automation; Virtual Validation & Prototyping; CAD & Mechanical Design; EDA / Signal Integrity / Simulation; Configuration & System Utilities; Business & Integration Platforms; UI/UX; Mobile Development. (All experience/skills may be acquired concurrently).

Position is based out of our HQ in Chicago, IL & subject to relocation to unanticipated US worksites, with financial assistance. Telecommuting 2-3 days per week permitted, dependent on business needs. Domestic travel for meetings as needed (approximately 5%). 

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $202,779/year - $230,790/year.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may vary but will not be less than the posted range minimum and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
