Salary Range: $45.62 - $54.30

Full Time Contract expected to end after 6 months (possibility of extension)

As a key member of the Hospital Information System (HIS) Project Team, the System Analyst – HIS Implementation plays a critical role in supporting the successful implementation of the Oracle HIS. This position is responsible for providing expert, professional, and skilled support for end-user devices, peripherals, and technical readiness activities required for HIS deployment. The role works closely with Clinical Informatics, Infrastructure, Applications, vendors, and project leadership to execute technical project plans, support device readiness, and ensure a safe, reliable, and effective end-user computing environment that enables clinical and operational workflows across Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work directly on the Oracle HIS (Cerner) implementation, supporting end-user technology readiness across clinical and non-clinical areas
  • Execute assigned components of the technical project plan, working closely with Project Management, Infrastructure, and Application teams
  • Collaborate with Clinical Informatics to complete technical assessment workbooks and readiness artifacts required for implementation
  • Compile and maintain device and endpoint inventory data to support build planning, deployment, and go-live activities
  • Coordinate and work with vendor peripherals (e.g., label printers, scanners, carts, specialty devices) to ensure compatibility and readiness
    • Perform imaging and configuration of end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and clinical endpoints
  • Support the build, staging, and deployment of Workstations on Wheels (WoWs) and other shared clinical devices
  • Organize and map end-user devices on architectural and unit drawings to support deployment planning and clinical validation
  • Perform general data entry, documentation updates, and meeting preparation (status updates, inventories, action tracking) to support the project team

Skills & Qualifications:

  • University or College degree in computer sciences
  • Certifications including A+, N+, MS Operating Systems
  • 5+ Years experience supporting Microsoft Client Operating System
  • 5+ Years experience supporting End User Computing Technology
  • 5+ years of current System Analyst experience
  • 5+ Years experience with Microsoft Desktop Tools
  • 5+ Years Experience with Desktop imaging Tools
  • 5+ Years Experience with Zero and Thin Client Devices, selection, configuration, deployment, management
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a networked environment, supporting multiple applications, providing escalated client support as well as resolving common hardware, software and training requests
  • Excellent research skills pertaining to hardware and software products and delivery concepts and technical application issues
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft O365 inTUNE
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft AD, DNS & SQL
  • Advanced understanding of networking 
  • Experience on End User Wireless Technologies
  • Experience with Scripting Tools – an asset
  • Experience on VMWare Virtualization - an asset
  • Experience on CISCO Unified End User Telephone Devices/Provisioning Systems – an asset
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, and LEAN – an asset
  • Proficient in Project Management Methodologies – an asset

  • Proven analytical, evaluative, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
