What is a Manager Implementation Science?

A Manager Implementation Science is a professional who leads and coordinates projects that translate scientific research into practical applications, particularly in healthcare, public health, or organizational settings. Their role involves overseeing teams, designing strategies to implement evidence-based practices, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring interventions are effectively integrated into real-world environments. They often bridge the gap between research and practice by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing data, and promoting continuous improvement. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills help drive adoption of research findings across interdisciplinary teams. This role bridges technology, business processes, and customer requirements, ensuring successful implementations and continuous process improvement.

This role is ideal for someone who is a hands-on problem solver and who can quickly understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and use AI tools to rapidly create frontend mockups and prototypes-in hours, not days.

Your Impact:ย

As an Implementation Engineer, you will:ย

  • Gather requirements and configure software solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Install, integrate, customize, test, and deploy software platforms.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Develop implementation documentation, configurations, and deployment procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, business analysts, developers, and product teams.
  • Conduct client training, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvement.
  • Provide technical feedback to Product and Engineering teams to improve solutions.

What You Bring to the Table:ย

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Experience in software implementation, systems integration, technical consulting, or a similar role.
  • Experience with SaaS, enterprise, or custom software platforms.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, APIs, and scripting such as Python, TypeScript, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of databases, web services, cloud platforms, deployment processes, and environment management.
  • Ability to analyze application logs and troubleshoot system performance issues.
  • Strong business process analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent with modern AI tools and capable of rapidly creating frontend mockups/prototypes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in AI-powered Agile environments.
  • Mandarin speaking/writing skills.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, ITSM, and change management.
  • Experience with monitoring/performance tools such as New Relic or Grafana.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development and automation workflows.
