Position Summary

The Talent Specialist represents a self-motivated and talented team player who has impacts on our growing company.Talent Specialist will work closely with clients and the Ignite team to attract, screen and hire temporary and direct hire candidates for all Ignite clients. Talent Specialist will be responsible for all client account management decisions related but not limited to client recruiting needs, assigned associate’s, accident/incident investigation, after hours support and recruiting workers (talent) for our clients. Candidate must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

Reports To:Branch Manager/Operations Manager

Supervises: No direct reports

Department: Operations

Travel Required: As needed

Essential Responsibilities

  • Recruits, screens, tests, interviews and evaluates applicants/associates for client positions
  • Fulfill client positions in a timely manner
  • Manages personnel records in employee database as needed.
  • Communicates requirements and duties to prospective candidates.
  • Manages multiple reports/spreadsheets
  • Maintains good relationships with all candidates/associates, Leadership, Employees, Colleagues and Clients.
  • Manage and Schedule recruiting events.
  • May be responsible for Client On-Site events/check-ins
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Make hiring and firing decisions regarding all temporary and direct hire associates
  • Responsible for delivering coaching and disciplinary action to temporary associates
  • Responsible for new client walk-throughs
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication, timely feedback, and professional engagement.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and turnover rates to ensure hiring goals are met.
  • Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and company employment laws and procedures during all phases of recruitment and personnel management.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, and HR to ensure staffing solutions align with client needs and company goals.
  • Participate in training new team members
  • Performs incident/accident investigations
  • Support Business Development as needed for closing sale prospects
  • Responsible for creating customer content for job/position advertising
  • Promotes the organizational values of Respect, Trust, Team, Opportunity and the operating philosophy of Safety Customers Operations People Execution (SCOPE).
  • Demonstrates safety consciousness at all times and reports safety questions/concerns.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned by Recruiting/Talent Manager/VP/President


Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
  • 1 + years of Staffing and/or HR experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates and vendors required
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and investigative skills required
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite products preferred
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures; complete administrative tasks correctly and on time required
  • Must practice confidentiality as required.
  • High sense of urgency required


Driving Requirements

  • Hold a valid, current drivers’ license
  • Must be able to provide proof of insurance
  • Be insurable under company’s insurance provider
  • Be at least 21 years old
