Position Overview

We’re seeking an exceptional Process Engineering Site Manager to lead our Process Engineering team and drive efficiency for operational excellence. This role focuses on ensuring employee safety, product quality, productivity capacity, and process efficiency to deliver on-time commitments. Your strategic leadership will directly impact key success metrics and contribute significantly to meeting our KPIs in areas such as safety performance, product quality, capacity planning, and process improvements.

What you'll do

  • Organize and guide the engineering team to meet goals and deadlines effectively, fostering collaboration and productivity
  • Resolve major challenges using extensive experience to consistently improve processes and address operational issues
  • Represent the engineering team in meetings, provide updates to site managers, COEs, and other departments, ensuring alignment and transparency
  • Develop, validate, and maintain processes to ensure efficiency, safety, cycle time adherence, and quality standards are met, including packaging processes
  • Train, mentor, and set SMART goals for the team, while evaluating performance and promoting career growth
  • Attend one-on-one weekly team meetings, lead budget and planning sessions, daily production request reviews, pricing KPI discussions, and cross-departmental communications
  • Ensure flawless implementation for new launches, process improvements, and special initiatives within deadlines and budget constraints
  • Ensure on-site oversight with 20% travel to different site locations
  • Define and monitor budget goals, production requirements, and team performance metrics
  • Perform weekly Process/Gemba Walks and safety walks, ensuring zero accidents and proper countermeasures for identified risks
  • Lead teams to achieve target efficiencies, perform LV1, LV2 events and provide proper documentation on key metrics like cycle times, scrap rates, headcounts, etc.
  • Validate and approve packaging designs and specifications, ensuring compliance and effective trials.
  • All other duties as assigned 

Who you are

  • Engineering degree
  • 10+ years of experience leading process/manufacturing areas in the industry.
  • 2+ years of project involvement (preferably)
  • Advanced leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with personnel across all organizational levels
  • Results-driven with a high degree of self-direction and organizational prowess
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • A commitment to fostering a safe, collaborative, results-oriented work environment
  • Willingness to travel (20%+)
