POSITION SUMMARY: In the absence of the General Manager, and Assistant General Manager, the manager effectively leads the team to execute great guest service and follows operating policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead team members on shifts, including assigning tasks (cleaning, line duties, opening/closing duties), providing feedback and training
  • Support appropriate personnel policies, labor laws and safety procedures
  • Ensure all security procedures are executed (safe procedures, open/close procedures etc.)
  • Transition into opening/closing duties
  • Ensure hospitality, and make guests really happy by providing amazing guest service
  • Resolve guest complaints/issues
  • Lead team members to open, transition, and close shifts 
  • Manage and organize the line and delegate duties to team members
  • Know and uphold standards for product quality
  • Work the line as needed
  • Execute and support all food safety requirements and practice
  • Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash on the shift 
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
  • Great communication skills to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers; bi-lingual skills a plus
  • Must have a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
  • Must be a strong team player
  • Ability to train and coach others 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize 
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management position in the food industry is preferred.
  • Necessary food handler’s certificate. 
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 40 hours a week.
  • Ability to stand/walk for at least 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data. 
  • Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
  • Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: Peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish.
