Position Overview

Johnson's Harbor Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position allows you to provide vital mental health services to individuals and families, supporting their journey towards emotional well-being and personal growth. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. As a member of our outpatient team, you will collaborate with a diverse group of mental health professionals, leveraging technology to provide continuous support and communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized therapy plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic and well-rounded approach to client care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems effectively.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training opportunities to stay current with advancements in the mental health field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients vary in background and experience a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in providing them with the tools and support they need to manage their conditions and work towards recovery. We prioritize serving individuals and families with limited access to mental health services, addressing both immediate concerns and long-term wellbeing.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • At least two years of clinical counseling experience in a mental health setting.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to practice, with the ability to navigate them adeptly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in using EMR software and related technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices tailored to specific age groups and demographic backgrounds.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience. Caseload size and complexity will be factored into compensation.
